I had the same problem on first day of the 4 day trip to the Las Vegas VOI. I moved the seat forward 2 clicks and reclined the back, and the problem was GONE.
I'm still betting on the fuse- many of us have had this exact problem, but seeing that the fuse is blown is difficult. In a thread started by Scottcot on May 22, 2009, he described the identical problem you have described and I also had on my '03. MJorgenson said to Check the 20 amp ASD fuse mid...
I picked up 2 '08 filters today from the dealer today (05038041AA). No problems with the gaskets, but I noticed they are branded SRT and not Viper. Dealer also told me Chrysler has now directed them to use Quaker State oil in Mobile 1 factory fills!!! They cannot get Mobile 1 from Chrysler any...
I have 18000+ miles on our '03. Three track days and three VOI's. Fronts are half worn and the rears are nearly to the wear bars. I bought near new rears for it on this site for half price to get the rest of the miles out of the fronts. Plan on the fronts lasting 2 sets of rears unless you are...
For those who have installed the Mopar street exhaust, how did you decide whether to retain the cross over? I have not perceived much of an issue regarding heat on my '03, so I guess I'm curious about the difference in sound.
Re: Help! Starter button\'s won’t starting it.
I had the same problem. Push starting didn't work. Turned out to be a 20 amp fuse under the hood. I now carry a spare fuse in the glove compartment!
At any given speed, the 3.33's should raise the RPM by roughly 8%, 15% for the 3.55's. Not sure a couple of hundred RPM is going to make much of a difference.
I put mine on 2 years and 7000 miles ago. Before we drove 5000 miles round trip to VOI 9 this year, the material was beginning to look a bit tired. After the VOI trip, there was heavy discoloration, lots of small bubbles, and the front edges behind the front wheels on both sides started to...

To check out other SRTs, you might consider cruising over to Erie, Pa on August 19 for the 4th annual Quaker Steak and Lube Viper gathering, beginning at 11am. Vipers from Ohio, New York, PA and Canada will be there, and you can check mine out if you wish.
With the wheel removed, removing the fender liner is very simple and takes less than 5 minutes- a few plastic fasteners and a couple of screws. It's worth considering replacing the plastic fasteners with the newer design the dealers stock now- they are more positive than the original fasteners...
Re: HELP! LO TIRE won\'t stop DINGING!
I had the same problem- dealer checked computer and found both rear sending units were defective- replaced under warrantee. Good luck.
Chris
Just had the pan gasket on my '03 changed under warrantee. The rubber corners that bond the aluminum gasket strips of the gasket together had deteriorated and the right front corner was leaking oil.
I don't remember haveing the problem with my Gen I, but in the Gen III I routinely hit the wiper stalk during track events- someone should look into a shorter wiper stalk!
