I'm considering selling my collection of 1/18th Vipers, as well as a few other Viper models. None of them are still in the box, although they have sat on a shelf their entire life. A few have some small broken parts, but nothing major. I can send detailed photos on request. I don't really have...
It was great to see so many Vipers out on the track. My only complaint was the heat! I can't imagine how hot it must have been in the cars. Anyway, I took lots of photos, and I even caught two spins!

I just got this email, if anyone is interested:
I hope you can help me out. I would like to contact one owner of a
tastefully modified Viper for an upcoming photo shoot. Shooting is expected
to take place in Phoenix the week of September 27, 2004 - most likely
Wednesday and Thursday. The cars...
The CO Viper Club went drag racing today. I think the fastest times were in the low 12's - not bad for the elevation. Anyway, here's the pics:

I couldn't make it for the entire weekend, but I showed up at lunch on Sunday. It was my first Viper Days and I was amazed! I don't think I've heard a better sound than when the green flag was dropped. I took over 150 pictures including a lot of action shots. The photos were taken with a Sony...
Sorry it took so long. I know that a lot of you don't like the looks of it, but I thought it looked pretty good in person. The engine instantly reminded me of a 250 Testarossa.
Here are all the pictures I took:

I started a new thread for the sake of anyone having to download all the pictures again just to see new ones. If a moderator wants to combine the threads, its fine with me. I just want to post some more pictures.

"For 2004, a new exterior color — Viper White — joins Viper Red, Viper Black and Viper Bright Silver Metallic. In addition, red brake calipers are now standard."

I don't think this has been posted yet:
2004 DODGE VIPER SRT-10 — AMERICAN PERFORMANCE...
I finally saw a production SRT-10 in person and it was simply stunning. I had seen a preproduction version when I went to the factory, but the production version looked SO much better. The SRT-10 doesn't have the menacing look of the GTS, but it still looks awesome. I took over fifty pictures...
Here is a quote from Neil Hannemann, Ford GT chief program engineer:
"After working on this car for a year, I've come to realize the Viper is in a different class. The Ford GT is a real supercar, that's why we're going after Ferrari ... again"
I think he should be worried more about the SRT-10...
Dodge just released a TON of new pictures of the SRT-10. Unfortunately, they are all in red (atleast the ones I have seen). I will post some more as soon as I can.
I didn't see where anybody had posted this yet so I will. I thought Car and Driver did an excellent job on the article, giving both sides. Csere made a great statement at the end about how you should do your research before spending that much money.
Check out these vids from yesterday's day at the drag strip. Best time was a 12.0 (pretty good for over 6000 feet).

Why does one of the engines have 4 stripes and one have 3 stripes? I've looked at gen 1 and gen 2 engines and they all seem to have 3 stripes. I have a hunch that the 4 striped engine is a concept car but I'm not sure.
