Won't idle...
I've always just turned the key and it fires right up. Now, turn the key and the engine just turns over and over. If I press the pedal and turn the key, it fires up. Take my foot off, it dies. Any suggestions?- 97 B/W GTS

!!CAUTION!! when jump starting your Gen II

Why does my AC only blow out the window defrost vents?
It worked fine 2 weeks ago. I have the knob pointed to the snowflake and it only blows at the windshield. It was 100+ here and I sure miss the cold air blowing at me. Any ideas?- 97 B/W GTS

Resetting the alarm
From other postings, this is what I did: Key in the ignition. OFF-ACC x 4. Leave the key in ACC. open/close both doors, hatch and hood. 2 beeps for confirmation after each open/close. It still won't start. Any ideas why?
The car sat for 10 months in storage. On a trickle charger. Dead battery though. Installed a new battery. The car just cranks over and over. Won't fire up. Reset the alarm. Diehard Platinum Top/side post battery - Will it fit in my '97 GTS?
Just went to pick up a Diehard Platinum (It's a group 78, 880CCA, Feb '08 manufacture date) and noticed both the top post & side mount. I've read in here somewhere that top post batteries are "iffy" for fit in the GTS's. It measures 8" from the bottom of the battery to the top of the top...- 97 B/W GTS

"Power Effects" cat back
\"Power Effects\" cat back Anyone ever heard of it? That's what mine came with when I bought it. I don't like it though. Tooooo quiet. How do I adjust the doors on my 97 GTS?
My doors rub a bit on the bottom when closing. I've read that they tend to sag a bit with age. Is it an easy chore to adjust them up? I haven't looked yet, but is it as easy as loosening the hinge bolts and adjusting? Anything "odd" I should know about?- 97 B/W GTS

What temp range should a 97 GTS run at?
My GTS and I have been together for 1 week now. Only thing that removes the smile from my face is watching the temp gauge move around. What is a safe operating temp range? Minumum I see is 190 degrees. Is the gauge accurate? And how does the summer heat affect it?- 97 B/W GTS
