Steve, do you still have these? I'm thinking about maybe switching to a coupe but I'd like to check out that top you make....I don't know if I am ready to give up the convertable yet.
Edgar has arranged a dyno session for MAY 3 9:30am at Full Function techs in Fremont.
The cost is $100 for three runs and it will include air/fuel ratio.

I was driving home after dark and a vette wanted to play. It was a new or newer vette and he had no idea that I was packin paxton heat. I dusted him a few times. My car shoots flames when I run it up the in the rpms and let off the throttle...this guy almost fell out of his car he was so...
I the centers of my HRE's done in a black chrome by a local place and they came out pretty good but they had a lot of little imperfections and it wasn't quite dark enough. I decided to give California chrome a try.
Also my inner barrels and outer lips were polished but I was tired of...
I'm just wondering what goes into thse TT cars. Obviously the motors are built and you have turbos but what else is going into the things.
I'm curious about the computer, oiling system, transmissions, differentials and any other stuff that you had to do to reliably make and handle big horse...
This guy MikeR:quack: and I have been competting for years...the latest is who's car is cooler? He thinks his cooler because the color "pops" more...I think mine is because, well, it's mine.
so I said "lets let the world decide which car is cooler" I found an online pole website...and...
You can't please everyone 100% of the time, but you can do your best. JonB has done that. You can tell by all the posts praising him. Jon has hooked my buddy MikeR up with some pretty sweet deals recently and made spending big money easy.
I've said some negative things about Jon in the past...
before and after graph with the smaller pully...didn't quite hit the target but I'm good with it until one of these local boys steps it up.
and for fun here is a graph with three paxton cars. All three of these cars took a different approach to upgrading the base paxton kit.
FASTOO...
So I bought the Roe crank pin kit. Looking at it, I see it comes with roll pins rather than solid steel pins. I was thinking I might skip the roll pins and use steel rod instead. Anyone have any opinions about this? Doug Levin sugested I might use drill rod as an alternative
I'm thinking about upgradeing mine. They have a super charger version that is to be used with a key'd crank. How would one key the crank without pulling the crank out of the motor? What tool would you use?
Another question...aside from the bolt coming loose has anyone had the stock dampner...
vacuum hoses are hidden. I'm looking at maybe even hideing the fuel lines all together if I can do it safely.
I choose to use a little extra hose with large bends to avoid kinks. You could reduce the amount of hose used by cutting and adding in metal bends but my opinion is the less...

didn't they make those in 19/20 as well
So if you go to the dynojet website you can download a program called winpep...I have it. With it you can change a number of things that show up on the dyno graph...anyway it's fun to play with.
Since many of us with Paxtons have had the cars dyno'd, I was thinking it might be cool to...
your PM box was full....
I don't know the specs on these, they look like mild steel with a ceramic coating...very similar to the Bellangers but at a lower cost.
I did.
Had this rattle sound in the back of the car for the past week or so and I couldn't find it. Finally I did, the strap that holds the gas tank in place broke and it was would rattle and make this twang sound over every bump. I was able to take it off and weld it back together, no big...
