03 paxton on DR at 1/4 mile track

A friend got the video from the stands. No go-pro.
First run I launched at 4000 rpms, it bogged.
20 pounds in the rear tires, 2nd gear burnout
2nd run I launched at 5500 almost rev limiter tried to slip the clutch and it bogged.
Same 1.95 60 foot
Pretty much exact same time.
3rd run I bumped the tires back to 30 psi to get ready to go home. Spun off the line 2.1 60 foot ran 11.6 @ 127.
So ya. I think a combination of the taller 28.7" DR throwing the effective rear gear ratio off makes it a little hard to launch. I pretty much would shift right into 4th before the finish line. I think going 3.55 gears would really help the car out.

Gears would definitely help with the bog issue, and also pick up some trap speed at the end. Ideally, you want to finish at the top of 4th gear. Gear accordingly.
Temperature, humidity, air pressure and altitude? And what run was it? Looked and sounded good. Fun stuff.

I didn't really record any temperature, humidity. Only thing I remember another friend telling me was the DA was a lil over 2000 or something like that. Run #1 and #2 look almost identical with run #2 going a lil slower probably from the additional heat soak.
I'd guess temp was about 80ish but humidity wasn't as great as it rained pretty good the day before.

You can look up historical DA value here. Just find the track and the date you made the passes.
