Anybody know what causes this? Friend has this problem and won't start for 20 seconds or so after it shuts down. Starts up and runs fine. Encounters this at the dragstrip.

I would think the rev limiter wouldn't just shut the car off?
Rev limiter is supposed to cut out cylinders.

Agreed, but if it is malfunctioning it could show those symptoms, maybe??? Just throwin ideas out there.......I would think the rev limiter wouldn't just shut the car off?
