06 coupe auto show pictures

those are the wheels I thought I was getting because every other auto show
viper had produced the wheels shown..but I guess the 06 coupe is the one were they decide to change at the last minuet after every one ordered the car based
on these and other images in viper quarterly, etc,etc. Not Cool Dodge!!!!

I agree totally! Not only are these the best looking wheels but they are (apparently) 8 pounds lighter each. I think all of us who are getting the First Editions should scream at Dodge and make them change. It looks a little like a bait and switch game to me. Who do we contact?

Doesnt Dodge understand that some of the best performance gains can be had by weight savings...and "unsprung" weight
is the mother of all weight/ performace gains......and the fact the new 5 spokes are 8lbs heavyer EACH x 4 = 32 Pounds!!!!!!!

32 Pounds of added unsprung weight is a HUGE GIGANTIC DIS-advantage!!!!compared to the Copperhead....***!!!!!!

Just so they can save a few bucks????????? the car is 90+K

WAKE UP DODGE!!!!! WAKE UP VIPER PLANT!!!!!!!


First edition owners are NOT Happy with the new 5 spoke wheels!!!!!!!

I see a very large blank gray space I think i know what your talking about, are they the wheels that were on that Red/White coupe Austin (i believe, not totally sure) posted?

Thanks, those are the wheels i was talking about just the wrong poster. Those wheels doesnt look bad, but not near as good as the sidewinders. Not the mention the extra weight. If i had bought a First Edition, id be pissed.

Dodge must have hired the "Ugly wheel designer" from Corvette.

The new 5 spokes are the worst looking wheel in viper history!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been waiting for the coupe for years..and now the wheels are an "AFTERTHOUGHT" ...*** Dodge ..WAKE UP!!!!!!

I would rather have the "H" pattern wheel at the very least, but the copperhead wheels are "PERFECT" for the new coupe.

Now the future collectability of the first edditions will be tarnished...."The new coupe with the ugly wheels" is how it will be referred to.
