It's a rear wing and front splitter (very different looking), FYI, in case it has been noted yet ...

Andrew,

You have to have both or none at all, as the effect of a splitter or a rear wing alone can be disasterous at speed, with downforce concentrated on one end. If done , they will be sold as a set, and it is nice to see this kind of upgrade at least being offered ---- whether one likes the look or not. Not taking sides on which look is better, just stating why it will be all or nothing as an option.

Not for me, I'm going with the wing alone because I want the front wheels popped up, off the ground, at the drag strip. My car is going to be a pro racer, sponsored by ****** ... :D

(everybody already says the Viper is such a 'symbol' anyway)

Well ... you should really see the graphics on my car -- it wil be impressive at the track ... and my sponsor, ******, tells me that if I can keep the wheels up for the full 1/4 mi, they will plan to launch a new super pill, called ... the V-10 Snake ... :rolaugh:

(sorry, couldn't resist. I'll stop now, as this could go on and on ...)

Of course I haven't seen them other than in the 2"x3" photo, but the front spoiler in the pic didn't seem to be much more than an aesthetic mod as opposed to the rear wing. If the front spoiler isn't physically supported by anything other than screws into the facia, I can't imagine it can sustain enough downforce (without tearing away from the car) to materially change the driving dynamics at speed. Not true of the rear wing.

Of course, I could be wrong. ;)

CitySnake,

Understood, but I would suggest that the front splitter will be held down by alot more than a few screws with a top speed of 202. The ones we installed on the VOI9 cars look aesthetically pleasing, but there is alot of support underneath.

Regards,
Bill P

Dear Doctor Bob,

Fair question, but the answer isn't even any fun. I watch way too much television, but thanks for your bedside manner, ha.

I don't know for sure, but I would believe there will be a kit for the 03-06 models through MoPar, as it makes alot of cost effective sense.

Hey Bill P, sorry it I offended you....it was all in fun so please do not take it seriously. I do need, however, to talk to you or the appropiate contact person on what kind of deals you are doing with Ford Expeditions. I sold my Suburban yesterday and need something to pull my boat. I may trade in the 300C you sold me.
