Whats the half moon shaped piece for on 1994 behind the stock speaker on top? To keep water off? if so does any water really go through there? I put one side of my polks in tonight and they didnt fit very well with the plastic piece behind it so i just left it off. Door speaker change is kind of a pain on the gen 1, didnt think i would have to pull the door panel half off to get them out. Soldered the wires, probably should have nylon tied them back to the speaker so they never break, when i do the other side tommorow night i will.
