Ebrake handle hangs up when releasing ebrake. Feels like cable is hanging up? Any thoughts

I've not had that happen to mine, but the e-brake mechanism is pretty easy to access at each end with limited disassembly required. Pick one end or the other and start there...if it feels like the handle, start inside; if it feels like the cables, start at the rear brakes and work your way forward.

The gen 3/4 parking brake is known to hang up and drag pads on a lot of cars. The recommendation is either "use it all the time" to keep things moving or "never use it" to keep it from being a problem. I've ruin a set of a rotors when the parking brake pads dragged and I didn't notice until they were metal on metal. They aren't all that easy to find either, though I think RockAuto was carrying a set now more regularly. I usually try to keep a spare set handy just in case.

Fix it and use it frequently. As suggested, work back to forward.
