3 small modifications make significant improvement.

First: Northwind 1' seat lowering kit. Now I (6") am looking through the center of the windshield. Much better view. Even the hood looks nicer. Downside, it is more difficult to do that cool arm on the window sill move. On the other hand the door arm rest is much more comfortable, as well as the center armrest. Thigh support is better, and for some reason getting in and out is not any more difficult.

Second. Installed the Vortex cones in Paxton Supercharged/Corsa track exhaust system. It really cut down on the drone, while leaving the tone the same, and just a little quieter. May be the perfect system for me. You can still hear some of the drone, but it is not objectional. Don't know if that makes sense, but it is a very nice improvement. Mechanic Mike had to do a "Carrasco cut" to make the cones fit. I got the cones from Parts Rack.

Third: I changed the diff lube with BG fluids. The slight whine on decelleration has been reduced by 50%. (3:55 gears). Love these gears for around town driving, but they are a little too much with the Paxton.

All in all a pleasant experience. I use my SRT more as a daily driver that my GTS. These mods make a significant improvement.

I hope the Vortex cones were installed in the side sills just ahead of the mufflers. I had mine installed just behind the header collectors as per the makers instructions. Cost me 15 rwhp.

I put my Vortex cones just ahead of the mufflers. Didn't lose any hp or tq.

Interesting concept.
They are stainless steel metal cones, kinda like old fashioned ice cream cones.

They have lots of holes in the cones, leaving about 50% metal, 50% holes. These holes, because they are in a cone, still have more open area than the diameter of the pipe.

The claim is that the holes produce minimal air restriction, while still providing a large metal surface for sound waves to bounce off, and mix with each other in the tube. ==<==

Seems to work. Others claim no loss in HP, while significantly reducing noise and drone.
