I am currently in Las Vegas with my car. What a drive pulling the car with a 40' trailer.

I went to the dyno today and used the new roe software to advance the timing and achieved 715RWHP/756RWTQ. I only advanced the timing 1.5 degrees in the midrange. There is now 700RWTQ from 2400-5300RPM. The A/F was a constant 12:1 throughout the entire RPM band, except for the first few hundred rpm.

Gotta sleep.

Congratulations, nice RWHP & RWTQ numbers. But, hey will you stop now as you sig says at 750 RWTQ...me thinks not, (big grin)?

What psi are you running, please tell us more, do you have wide band O2s? Can you set it all up from a lap top with the software, you have to write a program to the card yeah (does the new software come with a card burner)? Would be interested to know how long it all took you, learning the software etc? Does the VEC2 have to go back for some sort of mod to use this new software? (I ask a lot of questions don't I)! Thanks.

Gret numbers. Is that with the stock cam? 12.1 that seems a little lean to me You know the numbers on the street will be different. They get leaner on the street so be careful. I would hate to see you detonate a piston.

I did stop at my goal and didn't push it any further. Sean told me to advance the timing 3.5 degrees in the midrange and I only advanced it 1.5 degrees.
8-8.5psi of boost
I don't have a wide band yet but plan on getting one. probably the FJO wideband.

You can set up the VEC2 cards with the VEC2 software very easily. Once you understand how the system works it is very easy. I got the software last friday and feel that I could dyno tune my car by myself but on the road I need to be educated a little more. You can buy a card burner with the software for$50-60.

The VEC2 does go back for, what I am told, the last time. I sure hope so. Sean set the system up so you can do any future updates with a serial adaptor.

I have been running 12:1 since I have had my roe sc and never had any problems. Before the new fuel pump my top end a/f was upto 12.5:1 so now it is less. I am running a 650R cam from H M S. I don't know the specs but it is not a blower cam.

My dyno graph is similiar to my last one with the numbers climbing quite a bit higher in the midrange and a measureable difference across the entire rpm band. It is truely amazing what 1.5 degrees of advance will give you.

UtahViper,

Seems like you have one of the strongest Roe cars. Awesome numbers! 700RWTQ from 2400-5300RPM is amazing! Have you heard anything about the intercooler being developed? Can't wait to see the performance gains with an IC...

I have just heard that it is on hold. I talked to sean yesterday and I asked him if it was going to be done by the end of the year and he said,"I sure hope so". I am doing some of my own research to see if I can come up with something as well.
