Woo Hoo - that spin at RA really got my heart beating. I could recognize the symptoms a few corners earlier -- the car ahead of you starting to get away, a bit of late braking which translated into a rough mid-corner in the left hander, then running wide on the very next right turn. Just about then I thought "I bet he spins on the next turn" and sure enough, around and around we went

Good thing you went two feet in when you did -- that retaining wall was entirely too close for comfort!

I take it you went into the pits and changed underwear after that?

I got a quote from State Farm a few months back and it was 952 a year for me. Heck I'm only 22 with 2 tickets on my record. I thought that was great. Most Viper owners I talk to are paying roughly around 100 bucks a month for full coverage. Hope this helps.

There's a whole thread set devoted to insurance cost -- try "search" with the subject "insurance". It will of course vary enormously depending on your age / driving record / location.
