Factory recommends between .005" and .008" inches for the differential ring gear. It has always seemed that there is an excessive amount of lash in the stock setup. Anyone running them on the tight side with out problems?

Doesn't sound like much but I don't really know. The slop that appears to be in the drivetrain seems to be an accumulation of clearance in all the splines etc from the gearbox back.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I've never had play in the drivetrain. No NGR, no clunks, nothing.... o.k. I have to go find some wood now......
