Now how does Twosnakes happen to reply to 3snakes?! ;)

Put your rears at 29psi, but I doubt that 26psi would have caused a blowout - I've run higher speeds while unknowingly having lower tire pressure (unknowingly due to a screw in the tire) without a problem.

A tire pressure monitor system is an easily installed and wise investment with low profile tires like ours.

Saw rears on ebay for $250 each today. It's that warehouse place that only carries a few sets at a time.

There's one guy that has rears on eBay for $184, but it goes off early this evening. Sorry, I don't have time to hook you up with a link right now.

Low pressure probably did it but I don't think 26psi would do it.
I think you must have run over something and caused a further loss of pressure that you didn't notice.

Get the cheap sticky Kouhmos if you can use 17".

Cheap solution. Just do a walk around and spare the 3 minutes while the car idles up to operating temp before a drive.

even comes in neato colors.
