Can I extend my Maxcare Warranty?? Have an \'01 still under Maxcare

I have a 2001 with ~17K miles that I am the second owner of. The original owner bought a 7/100k Maxcare warranty in 10/01 so it's good until 10/08. I'm wondering if I can extend my Maxcare warranty since it is still under warranty or if once 10/08 hits it's no good anymore and can't get extended? Also, if I can extend it is it best to wait until almost 10/08 or to extend it now. If it is possible to extend and I do extend it would the warranty be transferable 1 more time then since I would be the original purchaser of the new contract?

Check with Chuck Tator, he's a guru on warranties, he'll run your vin and tell you exactly what you have available.
Most of the time you can pay 150 to have it transfered.

You can only extend the warranty once on Vipers.
