7th time in 2 years I've ripped the skin off the back of my right hand changing this damn birdcage!! Never happened until I had a spec clutch installed.

Venting...and yes I read all the prior post concerning this 6 changes ago!! This is an accident waiting to happen!!

I agree, birdcages ****. I have to get around to the solid pin fix......just been too lazy (though I am getting good at changing the birdcage without a light). I carry no fewer than three
at any one time!

73 degrees here Sunday. Pulled car out to go fly fishing. 1 mile down the road..crack..birdcage broke. Limped home and replaced. Got about an hour and a half away from home..crack..birdcage broke.. Am I doing something wrong? I'm coating the bushing with lithium grease. Is that causing the failure? This is getting VERY frustrating!!
