factory mileage certificate

Does Dodge still issue the certificates that show what mileage each new Viper leaves the factory with? Please let me know. If not, when did they stop.

No there is nothing like that with the cars. Each car can come to us with anywhere from 3 to 37 (highest I've seen) depending on if it was "emissions tested" before it was put on the truck. If you get a car and it has less than 10 miles on the clock I doubt it was PDI'ed at all. This needs to be done to catch anything like rattles, leaks when up to temp, alignment issues, etc...

But if you have a dealer that does not see and handle many Vipers anyway I guess you may be "safer" not having them out driving it.

Eric, Prior to 2002 Conner had it's own little card it placed in the unit telling the owner that the vehicle had been through validation and was signed by the craftsperspn who performed the validation. Beginning with the 2002 MY CAAP was required to perform to use the corporate system for validation and the card was eliminated.
