Fog light covers: yeah or nay? If you had the choice . . .

would you want the clear fog light covers that blend with the body lines like a 96-98 GTS, or would you like the no cover/99+ look? I am thinking about getting my facia piece repainted and repairing some scrap damage and a crack, and I thought if I did so, it would be a good time to take off my 1998 fog light covers, fill in the little mounting slots, and go with the 99+ no cover look.

Or are there some of you who vote for remove the covers AND fogs and do ACR-style brake cooling ducts?

Recently one of my clear plastic fog light lenses popped off and before replacing it I realized that I preferred the look of the car without it,like the newer Vipers, so I took off the other one instead. My vote is OFF.

I have a 99, had a 96. I have to replace a foglight in the 99 because of a rock, I never had to do that in the 96. Fog light list for almost $200, I vote for the cover.

I like the covers. But you should put some clear bra on them to keep them from getting sandblasted like the fascia.

I broke one in a fender bender and haven't replaced it since. I also cracked the fog on the good side inspite of the lens cover.

My vote is keep them. More aero, protects fog lights and looks cool!

I like the look with them on, but junk gets behind the cover. I have to figure out how to get them off without breaking the mounting tabs.
