Hello everyone,

I have a 97 GTS and I want to put gen 3 brakes on it. What do I need besides calipers and rotors? Any help would be greatly appreciated. If any one has a set front and rear I would be interested as well.

Thank you guys

The Mitten
Fronts are bolt on affair. Rear require cutting.

Aside from rotors and calipers, pads are different between GEN1/2 & 3+, stainless braided lines are suggested and at this point most people switch to 5.1 fluid. If you want to retain parking brake, go with 13" rear option to run the Brembo parking brake.

I strongly believe in stainless lines, the Gen2 rear brakes with 40mm piston upgrade, along with pulling the spring out of the proportioning valve for more line pressure. You still won't lock them.

I have a full set of gen 3 brakes along with brackets from IPSCO to fit them for sale, if you're interested. You would need two sets of front gen 3 rotors (can go with stock or aftermarket like Giro-Disk) and a set of e-brake calipers for the rear. Asking$1690 shipped for everything (a set full of calipers typically sells for around $1200 and the brackets are $560) and I'm including shipping
