Gen 3 to Gen 4 Differences

Is there a list somewhere of the differences between the two? I've heard the Gen 4 half shafts are solid vs hollow on gen 3, and the motor is now 8.4L with a 6060 trans, what other differences are there? What are Gen 4 half shafts good for in terms of power? Thanks Ron

Half shafts are hollow up until mid-2008 for Gen IV Vipers. All ACRs are solid half shafts and they decided to upgrade all Vipers to them at that point, so early Gen IVs may be hollow.

Dual disc clutch, Stronger rear diff., Hood with bigger holes in it, "more refined suspension", ACR option, Crazy paint colors, Electric engine cooling fans, more wheel options, non-tunable PCM, PS2 as factory tire, panel-style air filter, rear brake calipers, lower gas guzzler tax-(1700 as opposed to 3000), DRIVE BY WIRE...........................

The rear differential is upgraded to a GKN visco lok (same ratio), the new 8.4 engine now has a variable cam in cam design, there are revised suspension settings to compliment the non-runflat michelen pilot PS2's, the hood has been revised to allow for better heat extraction. There is a new exhaust manifold & exhaust design to generate less in cabin heat and povide slightly better exhaust flow, there is a new TR6060 transmission with a dual disc clutch setup for holding the significant power increase, and there are also better injectors.
I might still be missing a few items.
