I posted a while back about my 7000 mile 96 RT with head gaskets leaking, anyway the dealer talked to Dodge and they agreed to pay half of the warranty cost to fix it. My total expense is $670 plus oil. I guess I'm pretty lucky I got that because from what I've read many guy's have spent triple that getting theirs fixed. We are just installing an upper engine gasket kit with new head bolts and probably plane the heads a tad. I'm going to install a 185 thermo while were at it. Any other suggestions for me while I'm doing this???

I am not sure I would plane the heads unless they actaully need it as you may increase your compression and that is not ideal for future mods. (nitrous, supercharger, turbos...)

Good point! I really hadn't planned on doing any serious mods to this car, but then again I said when I ran a 12 sec quarter with my 68 cuda that would be good enough. Well that was 2 secs ago! We all know how that goes.
