Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear did a Top 100 cars a while back, ignore the list or it will drive you nuts. But if you get past the fact that a Viper was placed lower on the list than a Honda s2000 or a Toyota Landcruiser, not to mention many many others you will enjoy it for the driving and commentary.

It is VERY large and high quality, about 700megs and 1 hour long. You will need a Divx player to play it but it is worth it.

Enjoy.

I don't know why the S2000 would rank higher but I can sort of see the Toyota Landcruiser. That vehicle has a lot of history. While it may have turned into a profiling vehicle today its roots are in true off-roading.

For the people that cannot pull down 700meg can you give us the top 10?

BlueGTS,

The problem is that the Landcruiser he is refering to is the latest model not the earlier ones. The only reason he says the Landcruiser did not make top 10 is because the Rangerover looked better to him.

10)BMW M5
9)Mini-Old one
8)Skyline GTR R-34
7)Cosworth-I think
6)Range Rover
5)Ferrari 365 GTB(Daytona)
4)Austin Martin Vantage
3)Ferrari 355
2)Porsche 996 TT
1)Jaguar E-Type

What a surprise. 4 British cars in the top 10. Yeah right... Give me a break....

P.S. - BTW, Top Gear is a British publication - if you didn't know.

He should have at least gone indepth of the top 10, I would like to have seen the skyline in action, not at a standstill like they did.

OK guys hear what you are saying but with the steering wheel on the wrong side on most american cars it kind of makes then unsuitable for everyday drives in the UK. This makes it very hard to include classic American Cars.

Plus all the cars in the top ten are great cars all different but great, we all have our favourites, its not a BRITISH thing its a Personal Thing.

Have a great day and may all our boys come home safe soon. :usa: :) :usa:

Top 100 Cars of the Century
I checked out the video in detail. Though I did not agree with the choices, it was an interesting and entertaining show. Clarkson had some funning things to say - dare I say, witty? There was even some destroying of cars. Wow, huh? Didn't expect that. Anyway, for those that have not viewed it yet, you may want to. I took the time to list what I felt were notable things on the video (including the top 10, of course). If you don't watch the video, you can see by my list (below) where particular cars ranked, according to Clarkson. On my list, there were a few that no video footage was provided, just a picture. Yes, the Viper was only given a picture shot. How disappointing. According to Clarkson, it ranks #62 of the top 100 cars of the century. But what does he know? It's just his opinion.
