hood question

I was having a discussion with someone this weekend about this...

Does anyone know if the GenII hoods come with the NADA duct and the air vents CUT OUT or if they actually have something in place? We were looking at a 97 hood that had no duct on the outside but under the paint you could see where the vents and the duct belonged...

Anyone?

That sounds like a transition hood. From a 97 Rt-10. I actually used one to replace my hood and the bottom "frame" had all of the correct locations for the scoop and louvers. The top however was solid. I cut the top and grafted the louvers and scoop in. The 97 RT hood can be used if you are very careful in the "graft" on the top areas.
