I just got done doing some "remote tuning" with Sean Roe this afternoon. The guy just got out of the dentist's office, it's his birthday, he's driving in the pouring rain, and still helped me get my car tuned over the phone. This guy is superhuman.

The mods on my 1998 GTS are:

K&N filters
smooth tubes
stock headers (but we replaced the factory 90 degree bend with a 3" mandrel bend to get under the car)
high flow cats
cat back exhaust
8# pulley
water/**** kit

The car made 564/594.

Do these numbers sound pretty good to you guys?

Sounds on the low side to me. I was right at 600 rwhp with a very similar setup on my first car without the water/methanol.

good w/o being at a dyno. and safe. not good for being at a dyno. What's your A/F ratio? Oh wait... you don't know.

:(

JD

I was at the dyno. Sean wasn't. He was 1500 miles away in Florida. I'd make a pull, call Sean and tell him what it did. He'd walk me through some adjustments and I'd make another pull. We kept doing that until the tune was close.

The car was tuned to pretty much 11.9 across the board.

If those numbers are low, what would bring them up? Headers? Rockers? Or are they just plain low for the mods I alredy have?
