Guys,
I am replacing my fuel pump, and I pulled the cover to the fuel pump assembly. How do I remove the 1" or so black fuel (fill I think) hose without damaging it?

Is there a trick, or do I have to cut it and replace it?

The factory manual does not even mention it, of course.

thanks guys,

Dave.

Well, if you have a GTS, you are alot better off. As for replacing the pump inside the cocoon, have fun! - It was not the easiest thing to do. Sorry I do not have more insight for you. I was there when it was done, but I did not do the work.

The hose has to be twisted and pulled at the same time. Be careful of the smaller outlet hose it is not that pliable and can be damaged easily. Look at my post on this forum under "Sean Roe SC". Before you pull the bottle, get some flat round stock that can seal off the tank when you remove the bottle. I used the lid from an ice buck it was perfect.
