NEVCA - Factory Five Tour - Sept 7th (Saturday)

[WOT!]

We are next headed to the Factory Five Facility tour in Wareham, MA. They manufacture reproduction kit cars. They have some pretty cool looking cars like the GTM Supercar, MK3 Roadster, 33 Hot Rod, 65 Roadster, and more. They were nice enough to open their plant and show us how the process works. They will show us how they weld the chassis and assemble the cars.


After the Factory tour we will head out for lunch (details tbd). This will be a nice event to check out some cool cars and to spend the day with some of your fellow Viper buddies. I hope you can make it.

Had a great time at the factory 5 event. Thanks to Dave Smith, owner, for giving us a tour of the factory; talk about a passionate guy! He was genuinely enthusiastic to see the turn out of the vipers, the lambo, the cobra (not so sure about the ford explorer .) Although if it wan't for Martin a fellow viper owner would have been stranded at the rest stop when the key fob battery died. Kudos for not leaving them behind! Thanks to Dave Kenney and Eric Lotter for taking us on a back road ride to the Clam Shanty to enjoy a seafood lunch. Nice to see everyone and looking forward to Autocross the 22nd.
