While cruising at the Midwest Rendezvous, I noticed that the mileage on my odometer was way off compared to that indicated on the map (more miles passed by).
I have 3:55's and the black box to calibrate the speedo, but does this also adjust the odometer? Is the odometer reading mechanical in contrast to the speedo's being electronic?

I have 3.55's with the unitrax speedo cal box and I went on a 125 mile or so car run with mileage markers last weekend and my odometer stayed accurate within a few 10's over the course, so I think the box cals both the speedometer and the odometer. Hadn't even thought about it until you brought it up though.
