Oil Pan Drain Plug Torque Spec?

Is there a torque spec on the 2006 drain bolt? Thanks all....

Sorry...but they have yet to offer a 2010 Viper Service Manual either in print or on CD in spite of efforts by several folks.


However, here is the info from the 2009 Viper Service Manual on CD...the section on oil changes:

"7.Install drain plug in oil pan and tighten to 34 N·m
(25 ft.lbs).

8.Remove oil filter and replace with new tighten to 34
N·m (25 ft.lbs)."

Thanks. I am going with 25 ft lb. I am at 500 miles. I am going to take my tq wrench with me to a local drive over bay oil change place and try to get in the bay with them. I have my own mobil 1 and srt filter.

It might be different. The different tail section of the car and the revised 5th gear make it a totally different car.

I fail to see how as the 09 coupe, and a 10 coupe have the exact same body. The only difference is the wing on the ACR and as you mentioned, 5th gear. Plus, the ACR has a supplemental manual anyhow.
