Recently got an 06 coupe and even though it was sold “serviced and ready to go” it arrived with issues. Currently getting a sputtery misfire that shows p0202 on cylinder 2. Pulled injector plug off it and two others and they all check the same at 13.4 ohms. Didn’t see any plug or wire issues. What to look at next?

Not a constant miss so possible the injector could test good now with engine cool but intermittent open or short situation when active on hot motor?

Also possible the injector could just be dirty. Would test fine, but not flow well.

Need to check ASD at injector connector and trigger wire between injector and PCM. If thats OK, then PCM is bad.

We do stock PCM's.

Dumb it down for me lol, what is the ASD and how do I test it? And do you want me to just check continuity on the injector wire from pcm to injector plug? Random question would the pcm have anything to do with the door latch mechanism not working? I had a situation where the door out of nowhere wouldn’t latch. I could hear the micro switch clicking when I pushed the door handle down but no solenoid activation or latching. Unhooked the battery and worked fine after. Curious if that could be related or if it’s a different module controlling that. Thanks for the help!

Cheap and easy just to put in a new one. I had a similar issue, swapped out the offending injector, issue never came back. That said, I have a full set of injectors for a Gen 3, I will just sell 2 if you want an extra

I appreciate the offer but I ordered a new one last night. Figured I’d start with the simplest thing first.

I’d swap injectors between two cylinders and see if you get a new code.
I considered doing that yesterday but figured if I was going to take the rail off I might as well just put a new one in and if it works I’m done. Fingers crossed

ASD = Injector Power Supply. Look for common color wire on all injectors, thats ASD.

Yes, continuity from other injector terminal to corresponding contact in PCM connector.

No, That is nearly always broken wire in door harness near hinge.

P0202 is an open circuit code. If he has ~13ohms across the injector coil, the injector is definitely not causing that code.
