What is the difference going to be with the car tuned opposed to the car not being tuned, I have headers,cats and other stuff? :2tu:

I'll report the answer in a couple of weeks. I will be dyno'ing a Mopar Performance PCM versus a WCV programmed PCM for 91 octane fuel. I don't have a stock PCM for a third level, but at least I will be able to compare the Mopar to the WCV. BTW, seat of the pants/butt-dyno says peak power is not much more, but power from idle to 3k rpm is WAY better and as a result so is drivability with the WCV unit. Bad news is absolutely no idle hang with Mopar unit and idle hang from hell with WCV unit.

WCV PCM idle hang update. Talked to John at WCV for awhile today (he is super-Viper tech BTW) and he is of the mind that idle hang is greatly influenced by throttle body synchronization. I told him about how I adjusted the t-bodies and went for test drives. He pointed out that I was following a faulty procedure: 1) the throttle bodies cannot be synch'd manually, only electronically using what he called a DRB diagnostic procedure that uses the available electronic sensors to determine the amount of air making it past the t-body blades at idle; and 2) each time you make an adjustment, you have to de-power the PCM for a full ten minutes so that it will take a brand new look at the re-synch'd t-bodies and make its idle hang decisions from the new baseline.

So this idle hang, is that when you step on it, and you don't accelerate? Or is this something else?
Nope. It is when you let off the gas and instead of falling down to idle the engine hangs at about 1,500-1,700 rpm until the car actually stops.
