replacing t56 with tr6060

what is needed to replace t56 with a tr6060 from a genv

First what year is your Viper ?
If you have a pre-2000 you will need the trans modified for the speed sensor.
Other than the trans you’ll need the correct driveshaft slip yoke. The 6060 is .200” larger diameter. The trans crossmember will need to be modified for the mount stud. It is farther back on the 6060 approximately .5”.

interested in a good use tr6060 to install in my 2001 rt10.Can my present clutch work?

Yes, your current clutch should work. You will need to space your slave cylinder, I used the .113"

Slave Cylinder Shim Kit (3 Pack)

During each and every clutch install you perform on a newer GM vehicle, you must measure to see if a shim is necessary for proper installation.
