I have read through a lot of the SCCA rules, and it is quite confusing. My understanding is that the SRT10 is classified as Super Stock. All the other stock classes are letters like A - G.

What can I do to my Viper and stay in the Super Stock class? I don't want to land in a Prepared or Modified class, at least not yet.

From what I can see:

1) No 3.55 Ring and Pinion
2) Yes for most Tire upgrades
3) Wheels have to be same diameter and width
4) Front roll bars can be changed
5) Rear roll bars cannot be changed.
6) Headers and Exhaust cannot be changed in any practical sense.

I am confused a little on whether I can use Motons. The SCCA rules say I can use any shock absorber, but is much more restrictive on springs. Does this rule out Motons?

You can't make many changes , but save yourself some time and trouble and just call our resident Viper Performance Guru, as he is a National Caliber Solo II racer with more trophies than John Wayne after an African Safari. He has been the bridesmaid at the Solo II Nationals more often then he would care to discuss. Of course he has made up for it with tons of Divisional Championships, Pro-Solo wins, Driver of the Year awards, etc.
