can any one tell me if fitting a skip shift (one off a corvette) can drain the battery. The skip shift was fitted last night and the battery was fine and I returned to the car tonight to find that the battery is very low and I could hear a solenoid or similar clicking noise .
could this be because I fitted the skip shift without removing the earth lead as the corvette diagram showed.

thanks.
