More acclaim for the ACR...."track day blast"
AUTOMOTIVE - Dodge Viper ACR: Track-Day Blast - SPEEDtv.com:2tu:

Something interesting that I haven't read before, it says
"all Vipers have cut-outs inside the trunk lid for mounting the mammoth ACR rear wing." So, the standard Viper has these cutouts for afixing a rear wing? Is that right? 08 owners wanna fill us in?

Thanks for posting an entertaining article. First time I've heard the 592 horsepower number and I can tell you you won't need your air conditioning in your 2008 Viper in the middle of an Ohio winter. There are cut outs in the area where the wing would mount. Don't know if that's unique to the 08, or if they are also present on the 06 coupe rear deck.

Well 592hp would be if you assumed the car made 600 metric HP and then converted to SAE...

But that's not the case.

It makes 600hp (550 ft-lbf/s) which is actually 608.322 metric horsepower. They must have done the math backwards....
