Looking for T&D's for my 97 viper GTS. Where is the best place to get these?

Thanks in advance,

Nope, I haven't sold them for a while now. Best bet is to check with JonB or try the Arrow rockers (Harland Sharps).

DC it is. After they are installed I will want him to re program the car anyway. That will work. Thanks everyone!

The geometry with the T&D and stock valves are wrong, so you have to mill down the rocker base on the heads.

T&D told me 4 weeks to get a set to me. While JESEL said 4 days.

We put longer stainless steel valves in your heads. That's why they worked. :D

On a stock Gen 2 head the geometry isn't perfect, :omg: but it won't break anything. The rockers sit a little too high, but they don't run off the edge of the valve tip. Milling about .125" off the stands will get it correct. Putting the longer one piece stainless steel valves in is what I prefer to do.

I have seen a couple of sets of ehads that had stock length valves and the owner put T&D's on WITH shims. NOT GOOD. On one set of heads the roller tip was almost going off the edge of the valve when at full lift. There were little "flats" on the edges of the valve tips. :lmao:

Jesel is the way to go, IMHO.

Since Jesel will build rockers to spec, they are also your best bet as going with a 1.7 is actually a LOWER ratio than OEM. We generally run 1.75/1.75 or 1.75/1.80 on Jesels.

We have an order for Jesel going in tomorrow, just let me know.

Whoops, Sorry about that guys, I thought this was in the Gen-3 [1.73 Ratio] forum when I posted that!

But yes, you can run 1.75's on a Gen-2 in most cases as well.
