Has anyone here had much experience tuning with the Vec 3 system yet? Would like to see what kind of timing changes you have made on what octane gas?

Not a single answer in over a week? Well, thats not good!
I have a GEN2 and will be coverng that subject for Gen2s soon in their tuning thread.
Keep an eye out for it and let me know (PM) if you have questions.

See my thread in performance modifications. Lots of time, work and money, and the VEC3 will be removed. Your results might be better than mine, but yours could NOT be worse. I'd suggest a reflash of your stock CPM (or of a spare CPM), based on dyno runs and A/F ratios you would send to DC Performance. Without the dyno runs with A/F ratios, they would just be guessing-not good. Reflash will also get you the skip-shift elimination.

On a GenII with your standard cottonKN filters and opened up exhaust (no cats) with bullets only, my ignition and fuel table adjustments are below:

I am still tuning, and have room to bump up the timing load table from 6 to a 8. Also, with the fuel table above, the injectors are basically running static. And appear to actually be a little rich, while the increased timing will burn some extra fuel, I plan to reduce the fuel load table by 1ms +/-, along with zeroing out the 1.2ms fueling at -7.5 vacuum. So far, no detonation and a seat of the pants increase from 3000 rpm and north. Further, wideband readings were perfect for NA hovering around 12.5:1

This is with 93 pump gas here in north Texas, along with one step colder plugs. Hope that helps!
