Water/**** Hoses

just noticed my water/**** hoses from roe keep coming out of the nozzles when it sprays. is there a stainless steel type(like NOS)that i can replace it with. everytime i put it in the nozzle keeps coming out with the pressure. this happen to anyone else?

Dimirios, I have not had any problems with mine as of yet. I would suggest calling Sean Roe to see what other options are available to you...Good Luck!

were the small compression fittings facing the right way when installed, if not they won't compress leaving the hoses loose.

Mine did the same thing. My tuner took out the steel looking inserts and replaced them with brass ones and they seem to be holding much better. He seemed to think the brass was a better material fit for the type of tubing that is used

thanks for your help guys. i fixed it this afternoon. i kinda ghetto rigged it and it works perfect.

i took the hose out of the nozzle and with the cigarette lighter burned the end of the hose so it curled backed with the washers already on the hose. put the nozzle back together and that sucker does not leak or come out anymore. even when i pulled on the hoses it held so strong that the whole intake smooth tube was being pulled on.

That is funny as hell. I thought you were going to say duct tape but you went with the cigarette lighter fix. That is classic!

On a side note, after seeing them on a few cars, the grey hoses with red couplers are really not too attractive. I am thinking a wire loom would help out a lot.

dude it totally worked. it rolled back the end of the hose from the heat. now it doesnt come out unless you remove the nozzle and cut the ends

On the compression fittings at the smooth tubes, I'm going to walk out to the shop now and see if I can duplicate what you guys are describing. Mine haven't come off and I don't know of any that we've done that have. The fittings are stainless steel.
On the hose color, we switched to black in the later kits. However, it's not seen much either way. You could put wire loom over them if you'd like.

Ok, I think you guys aren't fully tightening the compression fittings at the nozzles.
The rest of the fittings in the kit are push in "instant" fittings that require no tools.
To tighten the compression fittings, you'll need two 9/16" wrenches.

Here's a picture of a fully assembled fitting that has been tightened.

Here's a picture of the fitting disassembled. You can see that the ferrule has compressed onto the hose.

With the fitting properly tightened, the ferrule is on tight enough to hold up the weight of a steel plate without pulling the hose through.

If the hose came out of your fitting, it probably wasn't pushed in far enough or tightened properly.
