Now, granted, this commentary is coming from a guy who finished eighth ( D'oh! )out of ten in the prepared class. ( " Yeah, those ACR wheel's looked really cool with you going around the track slow enough so the spectators could actually read how many wish-bone spokes it has " )
I had a blast being on any track for the first time. Skip and Courtney were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend the event to anyone with a Viper and wants to learn how to improve on how to drive it. The steaks from Saturday nights dinner were really good. I met a few other drivers from my area and the cars they drive. I enjoyed my instructors, including Professor Adelberg on the ways to approach and run around the track. Watching the other cars run is also pretty neat.
I'm hoping to be able to get to Buttonwillow and give that a try.( " Number 03? He was a loner. Kept to himself, mostly " ) It really was a lot of fun and I would like to do it again. And if you haven't done it, you should.
