we tried to get a few laps in before it all started this morning but track time was full with practice sessions.

We have driven a few parade laps as a club around the full circuit a couple of years ago before the start of Brit GT race, when a few vipers were competing. Some of have driven the circuit during private track days

Looks like a nice day at Silverstone. I just got back from a wonderful vacation touring England. 3 weeks, a little over 2,000 miles, and never saw a Viper on the road. Weather was fantastic, petrol prices through the roof. About $6.oo per gal.

I reckon there's less than 80 vipers over here, all dotted around the country outside club meets etc I've only ever seen 3 on the road in about 8 years, so your chances of spotting one was very slim. You must of been lucky with the weather it was freezing and windy at Silverstone yesterday, but boiling hot today..

Petrol prices are normal we haven't had a rise in prices for a long time, but thats about to change, about $110 to fill a empty viper and when **** got her S/C doing 100 miles to the tank, thats expensive motoring !

Which one is the GT40?

maybe the cars in the link. not working for me...None of the posted pic above have a GT40 in it....The car above[Porsche] just has the Gulf racing colors that was also one of the best colors imho on the GT40 race cars....

There is a GT40 Mark IV in there, I think. (Note, the Mark IV looks more like a P-car 917.

I've made some enquires with some experts, doesnt mean a thing to me but apparently its a:

The Drumgali XXT - only five produced.

Fitted with rare Alfa Romeo 3 cylinder 2 stroke prototype motor.

Seven speed gear box.
