First what year is your Viper ?
If you have a pre-2000 you will need the trans modified for the speed sensor.
Other than the trans you’ll need the correct driveshaft slip yoke. The 6060 is .200” larger diameter. The trans crossmember will need to be modified for the mount stud. It is farther back on the 6060 approximately .5”.

Yes, your current clutch should work. You will need to space your slave cylinder, I used the .113"

During each and every clutch install you perform on a newer GM vehicle, you must measure to see if a shim is necessary for proper installation.

No you dont. The distance from crank flange to HRB flange on a TR6060 and T56 is the same when using the same bellhousings.

As long as you are using the correct combination of flywheel/clutch/HRB, they are all compatible with either configuration *EXCEPT* when using a multi-disc arrangement designed for the longer splines of a TR6060 input shaft, which a T56 does not have.

-My own personal car uses a Tilton Carbon/VSP Heavyweight/Tilton HRB. It used to be installed in a built '06 block + T56. It was later changed to a built '10 block + TR6060. Absolutely identical setup height with no changes.

-Customer car not even 50 miles from here [01 GTS-ACR] is running an OE Gen-2 clutch + AL Flywheel + OEM HRB + TR6060. Same thing, zero issues 20K miles and counting.

[Side note, while its rare to see these days as the proper set is ungodly pricey, you havent lived until you've shifted a Tilton Carbon on a TR6060. Its next level.]

Interesting. My 03 was an 1/8" off using my original bellhousing. Easy enough to measure though when the 2 transmissions are sitting on the garage floor.
