It doesn't seem that my question arose a lot of concern...
Thanks Fletcher, I didn't consider tha anti-turbolence purpose, you are surely right.
Remains to be known if ACRs models mount it or not......
(I don't have many opportunities to see an ACR here in Italy, as you cann...
Hi friends!
Does somebody have an answer to this ??
As I was watching the underneath of my 1999 GTS ( sublime view ! ), I wondered what is the specific function of that thick alluminium (?) slide screwed to the frame between rear tires ??
I thought :
1) it is a slide intended for off-road :(...
No I won't, but I will probably join the Corvette meeting in Italy on the 25th of April, as soon as I will be sure to be welcome. Sometime we are as welcome as a breadstick in the eye among Corvette owners !!!
Hi friends ! I still have stock battery on my '99 GTS and, despite unfrequent driving, it still keeps working fine.
How long should I expect in terms of life-span ??
Thanks for the pictures!!
I have not been lucky about my 1999 GTS recall . . . not only they never wrote to me, but it took several months to Chrysler Italy to answer my mail asking about the recall. They eventually wrote addressing me to the dealer who sold the car to me, who I strongly doubt...
Thanks for the tips Nadine!! I already did the filters and airbox and tubes, going next for the exhaust !!

I'll follow answers to your post !!

Great topic Markus. I was wondering about oil temperature in the Viper. It should be nice to have a stock oil temp. gauge in the car. I am sure some additional oil cooling would add to the cooling system wich is often. . . let's say poor. But from my racing experience I have to say that oil...
Thanks to you all guys, especially to Markus. My vents are "standard", did not use them for any pourpose, I guess pressure should flow through. I hope someone at Chrysler is raeding this: it seems the problem to be frequent to right doords only !! The guys installing right doors there are...
Hey Markus, it seems you have a '99 like me, right? What is Chrysler doing in Germany about the recall I am reading about on this forum?? At date I had no word from them here!!!
