    Rear End Clunk

    Well I had a clunck in the rear of my 94 rt/10 and it was the rear. A tooth came of one of the gears and that is what caused it. They said it was most likely a weakspot in the metal when the gar was made.

    Who runs a Gen 1 without mufflers and cats?

    I just put dynomax mufflers 2 per side on my 94 rt/10 and no cats. Sound is great and definite increase in performance.

    Just 2 more inches how can that change anything?

    The kit installs in about 35 minutes and I got mine from partsrack.com. It is not hard to put in at all, a socket set is all you need. 4 bolts to remove the seat, 4 more to remove the tracks then 4 bolts to install the kit and 4 to reattach the seat.

    I just put the NWE 2" seat lowering kit in my rt/10 and oh my this is the best money i have spent on my viper. I thought 2" would not make that much more room but wow how I was wrong. My knees are not pressed aginst the dash anymore and my head is not sticking out the top of my car like before...

    I emailed the owner of the company and they are not offering the kit any longer because of leak problems but the are currently working on another speedster kit for the rt/10 with a top that will be a snap to put on and take off. I think it might be a stowed top in the trunk but I am not sure...

    Just for your information if you have not checked the website out the conversion is a fully functional convertable top like the 2003 srt that can be opened and closed from inside the car.
