Can somebody give me the part number for an Optima Red Top battery in a '96 RT?
I've read the bad reviews and horror stories about the Optima, but I have an Optima in my other car and it lasted over 7 years. :drive:
Thanks

Sorry.......wrong forum section.
\'96 Window Sticker....anybody??
I'm looking for somebody who has an original '96 vintage window sticker, preferably from an RT/10. It doesn't matter what car color, options, dealer, etc....I just want to have the correct '96 year sticker format and I will edit the proper info to suit my RT/10...

The Viper's original design approach is unique in concept and appearance......it shares it's aggressive stance and exotic good looks with no other automobile - period. It is a finely tuned, purpose built thorobread...
I hired Intercity Lines to transport my '96 RT from San Antonio, Texas to Connecticut. They are just as rate competitive as most any reputable carrier and enjoy an excellent reputation for service, on time delivery and most of all they have the best equipment and personnel to transport your...
You can also use the California Mini car duster....it works great for picking up dust and will leave nothing behind.
If you have greasy dirt or grime buildup, the duster will NOT work. Use a good quality vinyl dressing - not Armor-All. Hope this helps. :usa:
About to purchase aftermarket exhaust for my '96 RT.....feedback on sound quality from owners that have the following three systems installed......
Borla, Corsa and B&B
Thanks :usa:
Armor All was ok to use on tires years ago (before better, hi-tech solutions became available)....but it DOES contain water.......AVOID using this stuff on leather goods at all costs....it will certainly cause your leather stitching to rot with repeated use. NFG :( :( :ooo:
Miles B,
I sincerely hope that if I ever have an occasion to visit the 'Downunder' and takeup riding again, that more people there see things your way....riding would be a whole lot safer. People that don't ride or never have, just don't get it! :usa:
Frank 03SRT...
Thumbs Up Frank,
Well spoken from the 'Land of OZ'....now if we can just get some of these 'youngsters' to realize what 'ya go through out there just to stay alive.....what do you think? :D :usa:
I've been a Harley biker for years, although I don't ride anylonger, I would NOT recommend pulling a stunt like this. :( :(
When you finally do come to a stop, you just may realize that you've made the biggest mistake of your life.....and all that Viper HP can't help you from getting your...
Here is a link for FT Force Automotive Performance.....they sell the Corsa catback system for $1192.77 and they also have the Borla cat back system listed for the same price.....(although from what I have seen the average cost of the Borla has been just under $1,000 from most)
FT Force
The Corsa 3" catback exhaust seems to be a viable alternative although the basic parts kit costs about $380-400 more than the Borla (not sure of cost as compared to the B&B). The Corsa is also advertised as a 'bolt on' installation (when using the stock cats)......if Hi-Flow cats are used...
torquemonster - Paolo Castellano - Casey,
Thanks guys for your positive responses to my original post about Viper power. :)
I'm glad to see there are responsible people out there who are mature enough to realize the power of the beast. I see all too often the unfortunate postings on another...
torquemonster,
Thanks for understanding the content of my post. It appears that you are a man with restraint and good judgement as well. So many young people simply do not understand what this is really all about. Many learn in the end the hardest way. My hat's off to you........god bless
One word of caution for all you "supercharger pilots" out there. From the posts that I have been viewing on this board, it is readily apparent that most of you do not possess the saavy and experience with such overpowered cars as your Vipers. When owners have more $$ than common sense, the...
If the wheels "look awesome spinning", just imagine what they might actually look like in real form........get that Viper and you will experience the thrill in real time!! :D :D
cruser,
Unfortunately, this is the busy season for car transporters. I just had my '96 RT delivered from San Antonio, Texas to the east coast last Friday. Currently, the lead time to pickup by most carriers will be around 2 weeks from placing an order, plus another 7 days or so road time...
