2001 wheels...clearcoated?

Scott, to answer your question, yes, your wheels are clearcoated. They are polished, then clearcoated so that they do not tarnish or corrode. Treat them as you would the paint on the rest of your car. Avoid abrasives and metal polishes.

great...thanks, they had some minor scuffs...and I didn't want to use something like mothers on them if they were clearcoated.
