3/4 Syncros

I have had to replace the 3/4 syncros 2 times. Each time the transmission gets stuck in 4th gear where I would have to pry it out. This happens with normal downshifting usually from 5 or 6 to 3rd or 4th with speeds at or below 80mph.

Any ideas?

Where can I get a rebuild kit with upgraded components that are made from steel instead of the aluminum?

After I lost second gear, someone said T-56's are replaced as often as razor blades.

There are rebuild kits on eBay for about $155. I don't think a new synchro will help you, though. Rick, the Viper tech at Woodhouse, suggested that there is a steel 3-4 shift fork available, OEM in newer transmissions. Maybe you have a bent fork, as I don't remember there are any other aluminum parts.
