Anyone here use header wrap?

My Hennessey headers put out a lot of heat and I am thinking about putting some sort of header wrap on them. Do any of you here use header wrap? Is there any downside to using it besides the fact that it won't look as nice?

I also plan on wrapping the headers, and the entire exhaust system all the way to the back of the side sills. I will be using stainless exhaust throughout so any water that might get to the pipes won't cause rust. Also keep the inside of the cockpit cooler. DO a search for Thermo-Tec and you will find what you are looking for.

The downside is that header wrap will trap moisture between it and the pipe. Don't wrap the Cats.

Not sure about stainless but wrapping steel headers will shorten their life. The extra heat will cause cracking. Wrapping may also void any header warranty. Best to ask mfg.
