Correction: The SRT-10's tires hook up BETTER than Gen-2,
I disagree. The runflats ****. Even from a first gear roll the SRT spins where a gen2 would not. I don't believe it's the extra power either.
In cold weather, yes, they do ****, HORRIBLY. However, SRT-10 tires reach a threshold in warm weather of not being able to spin them from a roll faster than a Gen-2 does. On a sunny 80+ degree day, an SRT-10 with warm tires cannot spin them from a roll without clutching it. The same follows for a GTS, but they need 90+ degrees and sunny on average to reach that point. (obviosly its the road temp, not ambient...though I havent measured it and that is the exterior conditons at the time)
Also, regaurdless of opinions on tires, everything I stated still stands if the cars went tire for tire with no other changes.
