Stopped looking at the speedo and focused on the pavement ahead just creeping past 140.
(on a closed, private road somewhere between Cabo San Lucas and Mexico City...heh heh)

Remember: my ride came with the Aerodynamic Delete. :D

I've only been to 125 and it felt like I was going about 75-80, very smooth.

Buried the needle (180 indicated) on my 1995 Gen 1 TNT-built 514 stroker-powered car. Car kept pulling beyond that. Top off, windows installed. On an interstate in AZ. Lost a fog light cover. Blew right over the roof of the 94 RT/10 behind me.

150+ on my stock 95 yellow RT/10

180+ on my 1999 GTS (it was stock then)

All the above on interstates. I doubt I've done anything like that more than 5 times in the past 7 years since I became a track rat. I won't go mega-fast on a highway when there's any traffic around. Unless I'm in the 1990 Turbo Caravan...gotta school the ricers!

155 on back straight at VIR in my 2000 ACR. Has wing and splitter. 445 rwhp, 3.54 gear. On a hot, muggy summer day 147 max. 145 on front straight. This car sees 140+ twice per lap, and has been doing so 7 or so weekends per year for 8.5 years without a single failure ('cept for a minor PS fluid leak this summer - fixed in 5 minutes). What a tank! Best Viper I've had. Hell, the best car I've EVER had.

160+ on back straight at VIR in my stock 2004 SRT-10. Hardtop on. What a sqirrelly car at speed! Simply lift the throttle and feel the ass wiggle...bad.

If the Humungus had had Kevan's ride, "The Road Warrior" would have ended differently. And we would have been saved from that excrement of a Thunderdome movie!

170+ stock...before I ran out of road. Don't know with the blower...but it gets to 140 really fast now and I do that on every drive at some point!

A good friend of mine had mine going 180 with me in the passenger seat. He slowed down once my sobbing got uncontrolable.

1100 miles per hour while getting a "favor" from the misses. Gave a whole new meaning to the term "sonic boom". Bugs, at that speed, actually explode into flames when you hit them.

Just kidding. I had mine up to about 36MPH this afternoon but that was only because I was being chased by a Mustang.

Just kidding. I hit a buck and a half once or twice. I do 120 or so quite often when I'm giving people rides. Any faster than that and most of them start to whimper.

170 mph with the top down and I could still hear the exhaust from my Fathers car as he passed me.

192 on GPS. You'll see the speedo on the bike beside top out at about about a buck eighty. You'll see it got kind of bouncy on the road at that speed, so I had to get out of it.

Quick Question? I don't know because I have never gone past 150.
But If you are going 160, 170, 180 + and the radar detector goes off
have you just passed the police? :headbang:
