In talking to someone about the differences between a 2002 RT and 2001 RT I was told there were no differences between the two model years. I thought that in 2002 ABS brakes were introduced. So I guess my question is this What are the differences between the two model years?

ABS started in 2001.

Color choices mainly, not sure about the stereo...the head unit may be somewhat different in the 2002.

If you like Saphire, get a 2001. If you like grey, get a 2002. If you like the other available colors, get either a 2001 or 2002.

Really depends more on what you can find. Looking for 2001 or 2002 makes shopping easier.

That is pretty much my basic understanding of how it works also. The people driving the 2002s just don't have their priorities in order.
